The recognizing of useful data from the mishmash of images and text that pdf datasheets are made of is a tough problem. getting that kind of data entered into spreadsheet rows would be useful for design decision making. To do good design decisions, one favorite supplier is not enough -- you need to make the best choice from what's globally available.
