You don't have to unlock the title block. Select it by dragging with the
left mouse button held down. Let the mouse button go, while the brown
rectangle encloses the title block. Subsequently press the del key to
get rid of it.

The above mouse based selection technique is common amoung graphics
utilities. A newbie may not even notice, that the title block had been
locked.
