gEDA-user: Different DRC rules for pins and vias

Hello,

It appears that in PCB the DRC check for minimum annular ring is
different for pins and vias. For pins the equation for not passing is:

Pad - Hole < 2 * Ring

For via it is:

Pad - Hole < Ring

Thus when the minimum annular ring is 20 mils, a via with size 30 / 10
mils will pass, but a pin will not. Is this intentional? The via check
seems more logical to me.

Jasper
