DJ, John, FWIW, if you want something at the other side of the globe,
ie, different war theatre, I'll put in a plug for my good friend
nigel@xxxxxxxxxx who is very happy to host open source projects. Has a
couple of his own...  (See the Rea-Time Tracking blurb on
http://www.threepeaks.org.au   The Google Maps tracking on prism9 won't
be active until Easter 2010 race).

http://prism9.com is a reasonable dell server running freebsd 6.3 (was
going to 7 until we found that firebird dbms php connector doesn't play
nice on 7.0) tucked into a Oz isp's rack.
