You have 11 mil pads on (usually) 20 mil centers, so yes, the gap is 9
mils.  Most fabs offer 8/8 rules or better (the ones I use are 6/6) so
you should be able to work with this anyway.

Note: if it was your intention to put the pads on 0.5mm centers (19.68
mil), you didn't - redo the footprint with a metric grid and you'll
get slightly more consistent results from DRC.
