I think before putting much effort in to this, the
patch contributed to sourceforge should be evaluated.

through Dan's test cases would be an important first
step. I think that the autorouter will be unable to
route to rotated pads unless the rotation is very
small.

It would be foolish to reinvent the wheel if it's
mostly working.
