It looks to me that some where along the line the Postscript HID got 
"smart" so now sometimes it strokes a pad and sometimes it does a filled 
rectangle.  My current tool flow absolutely requires a rectangle for 
each and every pad, or I can't make .dxf.  Because I'm using a somewhat 
lame ps->dxf converter, a pad that is simply stroked only shows up as a 
line in the dxf file.

So.... is there any way I can quickly get back to a filled rectangle for 
every pad?  Otherwise I'm going to abandon doing this out of PCB and do 
it the "right" way, which is to figure out a way to read the gerber.

Anyway... we *really* need a rational paste layer in pcb.
