gEDA-user: wcalc-1.0 released
Hello,
I have released wcalc-1.0.
wcalc is a transmission line analysis/synthesis calculator with several
(gtk gui, cgi, scilab, octave, matlab, stdio) frontends. Currently
supported structures are:
- air core solenoid inductors
- single microstrip
- coupled microstrip
- single stripline
- coax
- metal-insulator-semiconductor microstrip
The primary changes over the previous release are:
- fixed a bug in the cgi frontend for coupled microstrip which resulted
in many spurious warning messages
- replaced the "alert" dialog box in the gtk frontend with a log window.
Now if an operation triggers several warnings, they all go to one
window instead of creating many windows.
- fixed some matlab build problems
- fixed some win32/cygwin build problems
- added a native windows installer. You can now download a single
windows installer .exe to install the windows version. No need to
install cygwin or mingw.

As always, please report bugs in the sourceforge bug tracker. Bugs not
in the database may easily be lost or forgotten. For general
discussion, the gEDA mailing lists are the place to go.
Enjoy.
