gEDA-user: Is it possible to change gschem's default colors?

Noob here!

I am trying to learn how to use gEDA, but mostly interested
in testing out the spice tools. When I start gschem editor,
I get a black background with white boarders and have a hard
time seeing any symbols with clarity due to contrast. I would
like to reverse the colors: white background with black borders.

I cannot seem to find any "Preferences" in order to change
the colors of gschem's background, foreground, text colors,
etc. so that I can see the symbols being displayed therein.

Can someone direct me as to how this can be done?

Thanks!
Dan
