Ours wasn't that big; it was only an F2 when it went past our house.
The problem here is that we don't usually get tornados, and when the
rare one does happen, it's short-lived and very weak. This one was an
F2 and lasted an hour, cutting a 50 mile swath through central NH. We
just weren't prepared for it - there was no EMS warning on the cable,
and even when it was *here* it never occurred to me that it was a
tornado.
