Great!	I like this patch and the functionality it provides.
Thanks. :)

I have applied this patch (in CVS now) along with some #ifdef
HAS_GTK22 since it only builds under gtk+ 2.2.x.
Are there any GTK1 users that would like that functionality, too? In that case I might look for a GTK1 solution, too.

Just hold down the control key and use the vertical scroll wheel to scroll the display horizontally.
Great!

Please test this to make sure I didn't break anything.
Works fine, both with the real horizontal scroll wheel and with Ctrl+vertical.

PS. what mouse do you use that has two scroll wheels?
I'm using a trackball (WWT-13 from A4Tech). Currently looking for a new one because it's failing regularly now, but I don't know of any shop here in Germany that sells good trackballs. The ones from Logitech are unusable for my purposes because they are thumb-operated and/or have only a single scroll wheel. :(
My Laptop has a Synaptics touchpad with two scroll areas, too. Only the horizontal one is marked on the hardware, but the driver enables both ones. Took me some time to recognize that, but now I've marked the vertical one with a black line and can use it very well.
