Thermal finger width is proportional to the copper annulus gap.  So,
increasing the copper gap also increases the thermal finger width.

You can also edit the Thermal[] line in your *.pcb file to change the
proportion; it's copper to diameter change, so 0.5 means "same as
gap", 1.0 means "twice as thick as gap", etc.
