Greetings all - 
I have been playing around with gschem and I like it already (a lot
better than orcad capture).
As a former Mentor Graphics Design Architect user I was spoiled and I'd
really like to have some of DA's features again:

How about these "features"?


1) Rather than a nice neat simple single asci file data format. Lets
   make a weird binary database structure. We'll keep the details as
   company secret and never let our customers in on it.


2) Lets make the user run a special "registration" command if he wants
   to add blocks to the design. And we will store all the file names
   info as hard coded full path names. Then if you try to copy your
   design to another project or system using op system file copy it
   if cause all the links to break.

On a differant note one feature that I would like is selectable snap
griding. Right now it is all or nothing. I would like to have snap
grid on for things like components and wires and off for text.
