gEDA-user: silk on other side of board

Is there a way to put some silk screen text on one the component side 
and some on the solder side?  For example, I want a through-hole part, 
that is placed on the top side of the board, and I want the pin-numbers 
visible from the bottom side.  Same goes for BGA.

It could be done manually when in layout, but would be nice to do it at 
footprint definition stage.
