TSSOP packages come in varying widths, you need to pick the right one.
The PCB library window lists the widths for the variants it has
footprints for, you could easily add more to the m4 generators.

Width and pin pitch are two things I *always* double check.

Easily fixed with some wire-wrap wire, or de-strand some speaker wire
and use individual strands.  Put down some kapton tape to cover the
vias, or raise that side of the chip up a little.
