how do the .list files come into play?  Do I need to re-run any of those
*.sh files in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/pcb/?

Hm.  A per-user and per-project customization (like on gschem) would be
nice.  Maybe I'll try and figure that out if I ever get up to speed on the
tool.
