But being the inquisitive "cvs repo I'd like to use the geda part" that I am, I'd *still* like to be able to compile the repo for geda/gaf for FC6 that I did for FC5 (which annoyingly still happily works).
When you finally do get gEDA to build on your system, I recommend you install it into a separate directory in your file hierarchy. I usually use /usr/local/geda as the place to put all my gEDA stuff. The reason is that if I ever want to nuke the old version and install a new one, all I need to do is rm the /usr/local/geda directory. This is much easier than looking through all the files in /usr/lib and /user/bin searching for the gEDA files to delete.
