Datasheets say width and length of the pad.
Making a pad in PCB is complicated because
1) one has to recalculate the pad into a thick line
2) one has to permanently go over pads and press q because they are
default rounded
I suggest that the pads were defined by rectangles instead of thick
lines. If you needed rounded pads you would press q. I think rounded
pads are used less that sharp ones.
