Is there any (free linux) software that can estimate the critical path of a circuit, ie. the clock rate that can be used to run a circuit. I'm currently just trying higher frequencies until it fails, but this certainly isn't that good way to do it. I'm using Electric that can export in several formats, IRSIM and VHDL come to mind at first.
