gEDA-user: Win(PC) quick start? Mail searching?

Hello,

I just installed iverilog on my PC (winME).
I can't find any quick start text file.
It's kind of hard to read the man page file
on the PC.  Is there a quick start file for
the PC?

I just want a verilog simulator, not an
analog simulator, nor a synthesizer.  Is
this the best tool for the job?  Oh, I need
waveform viewing ability, like VCD.  I read
somewhere that the newest version supports
that.

Is there a way to search the mail list archives?

Is there a way to get a daily digest of mail
sent to this archive rather than get individual
emails?  Thanks.
