gEDA-user: Suse-10.1

Hello,

I am having serious problems trying to install gschem on a Suse 10.1
distribution:

when trying to compile guile-1.6.4 I get the following error message:

guile.c: In function 'main': 
guile.c:91: error: array type has incomplete element type 
guile.c:91: warning: unused variable 'lt_preloaded_symbols' 
make[2]: *** [guile.o] Error 1 
make[2]: Leaving directory `/scr/geda/guile-1.6.4/libguile' 
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 
make[1]: Leaving directory `/scr/geda/guile-1.6.4'

Suse 10.1 is using:
gcc 4.1.0-25 and glibc 2.4-31

Has anybody successfully installed geda on a linux SuSe 10.1 ?
