I guess whether it changes work-flow or not is a matter of debate
though.. if users _want_ the behaviour where certain attributes are
promoted, then removing that is a change for them. (Irrespective of
whether existing designs load / work correctly).
Unless there is anyone available to work on implementing it, the point
is moot anyway!
