This just show what crap proprietary model is. Proprietary SW vendors
need millions of dollars to make what you/we can reproduce with a
fraction of their budget.

That's because all the competitors are reinventing wheel again and
again. You/we're cooperating instead of competing - in other word, pulling
all the same end of rope.
