We're not.  The problem is boards where portions of the board are
repeated, not the whole board.  Examples:

Note in each that there are sub-circuits within the whole board that
are repeated - the furnace controller has four R8C modules, and the
powermeter has 24 ADE modules.

The connections *between* those modules are unique, but the
connections *within* them are all the same.
