[gftp] FTP over squid

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to an FTP server over squid (with authentication) and
perform some PUTs. The problem is that I can't seem to get gftp-2.0.17 to
negotiate a connection.

I know the proxy works because I can connect with mozilla by using
ftp://user:pass@host/ but mozilla doesn't seem to support PUT.

I've entered the proxy hostname, port, user and password in the FTP proxy
tab (and selected the type as HTTP Proxy) under Options.

In the gftp log I see this:

Looking up obelix
Trying obelix.cs.adelaide.edu.au:3128
Connected to obelix:3128

and there it hangs. The right (remote) panel says "Connecting" just under
the directory textbox. It segfaults after a couple of minutes.

Anyone know what's wrong?
