I'm running Slackware 9.1 / 2.4.20 on a P3 850MHz system, and the previous
version of gFTP (2.0.16) compiled ok.

I have attached two patches. You will need to install the patch
gftp-local-largefile.patch.

needs to be installed in the lib/ subdirectory where you extracted the gFTP
