I dont have the patch available. The source code is on a hard drive that
is badly damaged and I do not have the time now to attempt to recover
that, although I am interested in doing it when I have the time and
would let you know.

The binary is at http://ceres.pbxvirtual.co.cr/pub/gftp-gtk   That one
has some other changes too. See if it works for you.
