RE: patch for hdlc and bonding

Brilliant!

But... Is there an issue with bonding interfaces that don't have an IP? I
still get a packet count, but don't see any traffic analysis...

bond0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:02:E3:00:20:05
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MASTER MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:145040256 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:84311345 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:2453300178 (2339.6 Mb) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:02:E3:00:20:05
UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC SLAVE MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:145040216 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:2453286281 (2339.6 Mb) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
          Interrupt:24 Base address:0x8000

eth2 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:02:E3:00:20:05
UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC SLAVE MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:40 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:84311345 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:13897 (13.5 Kb) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

(I know eth2 is overrunning, but that card's being replaced soon :)

this is a small patch which adds hdlc, cipe, tunnels and bond monitoring
to iptraf-2.7.0
