Hrmm... How does it connect to your PC?  Serial?  USB?  Floppy?  PCMCIA?
Something else!?

I've been using gphoto with my Olympus D-620L camera (bought specifically
because I knew it'd work with gphoto ;) ) and it's pretty good.

gphoto still has a few bugs here and there, but it gets the job done.


You might want to ask around to see if any of the cameras that gphoto
supports works the same way as a Barbie camera.

Also, there's another program which I haven't tried yet called "photopc"
(it's, I believe, command-line only).  You might want to look into it,
too.

Unfortunately, I can't suggest anything else. (I did some searching on
Alta Vista and Freshmeat.)
