That is clearly an X library thing.

[madsdyd@ripley madsdyd]$ sdl-config --cflags --libs
-I/usr/include/SDL -D_REENTRANT
-L/usr/lib -lSDL -lpthread

But, clearly xlib is lacking here. I wonder why - and how it turns up in
my autoconf scripts.
