Please note, that games are only really a requirement for users below the
age of 30. For people in the fifties, office stuff is still about the
only application they run, and more and more of these are getting tired of
the endless Outlook vira, etc.

If you're a command-line user (that is, someone who knows how to read and
type, rather than a 2-year-old who knows only how to point), Linux is potent, 
flexible and totally accessible. And if you must point, Linux offers X-windows.
