It is indeed!  I commented out the test for glXGetCurrentContext(),
recompiled it, and it worked!  :-)
Remember - there are three instances of that in PLIB:

    src/fnt/fntTXF.cxx
    src/ssg/ssg.cxx
    src/pui/pu.cxx

You'll need to kludge all three.
