Re: Mesa vs OpenGL



The speed differences between Mesa and OpenGL are almost insignificant on
all platforms.  Mesa 3.0 endured extensive beta testing with, IIRC, 8 beta
releases.  That said, as far as stability is concerned, you have nothing
to fear.

The only thing that I miss in Mesa is complete GLX support, although it
has enough to get the job done.
