Merry Christmas & All That
Well I thought I'd take a few minutes to wish everyone a Merry Christmas
or December 25, or whatever you may or may not celebrate. (I may be a
male sexist pig, but at least I can be politically correct. :)
I know with many of us celebrating Christmas and the insanity that happens
along with it that little if any work was done over the past week. But if
you did do something, anything at all, please drop me a small note by noon
PST on Monday so that I can write up the weekly status report and send it
off to LWN/LT/and the email lists. Actually, even if you didn't do
something, email me a note anyway letting me know you actually read this
email. Sometimes it seems that some people have a filter that redirects
email from me to /dev/null.
As I said last week, I've got all of next week off (horray for me!) so I'm
hoping to put the final touches on the search engine and help out in other
places where I can. If you have HTML or simple PHP things (remember, I'm
new to PHP) that you'd like to farm out to me, I'll do that. Otherwise, I
may just start working on the categories/indexing of some content. Not
having Daniel's forms will mean this is going to be painful, but I'm going
to shoot for getting the RHLUFAQ content into the DB this week. (Jason,
can the CmdSchedule script wait?)
I'm hoping to be on IRC quite a bit over the next week, so feel free to
drop on in and say hi.
