Aaron - 

Do you mind if I shufle file locations of the namedstuff?  I'd like to move a few
things around in order to get all of our process.pid files centralized, etc.  I was
thinking also of creating some type of daemon group... so that we can place users
like named and whatever into it, thus giving them write permissions to the pid
files in /var/run.

I'd also like for named to be using the system /dev/null and /dev/log devices
instead of those in /home/named/dev.  Your thoughts?  Some of it's a matter of
preference I supose... but if you don't object I'd like to do it.
