Moving the files are fine with me. I don't particularly care for the
/home thing either, but that's where the RPM put them from some reason.
(most likely beacuse I used the chrooted RPM). If you want to make that
many changes to the named config, we're probably better off compiling it
ourselves than using the RPM (upgrading becomes a pain with RPM when you
move things). I can take care of it if you want- I'm going to have
plenty of time this weekend to work on the project.
Putting all the /var/run/*.pid's in the same place is also good. Damn,
just realized I don't think I did that for apache... hmmm, have to check
on that. It's a configure option.
