Job offer!

Well, after being played with for several months, it finally came!  The good
news is that it's Linux and Perl hacking and pays more than my last job.  The
not-so-good news is that it requires moving to the middle of nowhere in
Washington state!  The town has about 2000 people, but it's not in the town -
but about 4 miles out on a country road.  Not being able to drive, that's
somewhat less than 100% cool.

But it gets more interesting...  the job is at an ISP that does
consulting/programming (that's right - this is in the middle of nowhere,
remember).  Right next to the ISP is a boarding house run by the VP's wife.  And
to sweeten the pot, the house is on the ISP's LAN!

So...  I wouldn't be able to go anywhere, but with three T1s in the room, I
wouldn't *need* to go anywhere.  :-)

I also have a good shot at http://www.landscapeusa.com, a company here in Salem
that currently runs NT.  If I get that job, they'll be switching to Linux
REALLLY quick, and it will be a tough decision.
