I don't that much for how the tree looks.  Trunk to small, and I guess the
leaves/branchs aren't how I invisioned it.  I'd like something more like a
oak.  I (and I think a lot of the old-timers) think it is a good
representation of the project.

Also for the flame pic, when it is sized down, I don't think the green
grid will be very visable because it takes so little real-estate.  Perhaps
something closer to 50/50 would look ok?  Personally I like the symbolisim
of the fire (knowledge/wisdom) and the base of the pillar (a strong
foundation) under construction (always getting better).  I don't feel that
our logo *has* to have a penguin in it.  

Victor,  maybe you could explain the 50/50 penguin?  I don't see the
symbolisim in that and how it relates to knowledge, wisdom, documentation,
etc.  I don't understand the BillG/Borg eye thing at all in the context of
a Linux KB.
