I like Roger's suggestions here.  Also, I would like to see a version of
this logo, with a much smaller Pillar/flame (size of the capitol L in
Linux), with the pillar and "Linux Knowledge Base Project" all on one
line, side by side.  Something that could go at the top of the page
perhaps.
