First let me say that over all I like it.  It is very clean and easy to
navigate.  Your eye knows right where to go to find things.  I
really like your choice of colors.  Maybe we should make black,
white, and blue the site colors?  


Here's what I think could be improved though:

1) On the right column you're using gif's (1pnt.gif) for the section
breaks.  Probably should use <HR NOSHADE> instead for lynx users.

2) All images should have ALT tags.

3) Not sure if the DB supports this, but we need a list of key words.
This is critical for searching.  We could use these keywords to help
express specific distribution, kernel, libc5/glibc, etc issues.

[I have this idea where people can do an "express search" by keywords
listed in the <META KEYWORD>, or do a full text search.]

4) Next to "Revise search (same category)" should be "Browse from here" to
allow people to start browsing the KB at this section
(Networking/Dial-up/Email).

5) Should mention the creation date as well as the last modified date.

6) Drop the Dr. Tux.  Not that I don't like it, just I don't like it
there.  Maybe move it to inside the data column on the right.

7) The top row should read "Linux Knowledge Base Org."

8) Weren't we going to allow comments to logged in users?

9) Needs some global navigation:

<HOME><New Search><KB Index><About><etc...>


10) I'm thinking we should have 3 columns of data (from L->R):

10a) Article info column.  Who wrote it, date of last update.  Related
links, etc.

10b) The actual article contents as you have them already.

10c) Main Nav Column.  This is always with the user no matter what.
Provides the global navigation as well as telling the user where they are
(in this case Net/Dial-up/Email).  Simple searches can be done from here
as well.  Maybe this should go in the header or footer?  Footer is
probably better for Lynx users, header for Netscape/IE.  Maybe you could
do a browser check and if it matches place it accordingly?

Should be easy in PHP.
