If we end up using NaviSite's Compaq, we will have total and absolute
control. NaviSite can also set up ACL's on their border routers as we
desire. Also, NaviSite places each machine on two networks by default.
Network #1 is for "general access", ie. http. Network #2 is for
administrators (ssh, etc). Both networks use internet routeable IP's.
As for the VAR machine, I dunno what their requirements are. I will be
requesting that we admin the machine. As for do we trust someone else to
setup a secure machine- no, not really. :-)
