Regarding #22514, please find another tiny commit on top of
[https://gitweb.torproject.org/user/karsten/metrics-
lib.git/log/?h=task-22141-3 my existing task-22141-3 branch]. Basically,
all we need is a new setter and instance variable. That was easier than
expected.
