Don't know about the rest, but it certainly is not a good idea to choose smtp
port 25.
Even in Tor's default configutration reject *:25 is standard, and I doubt
someone would deliberarely modify this.
Gmail though accepts port 587 (encrypted traffic) which works just fine.
