Re: [tor-talk] some websites are blocking me now
Be wary using Craigslist. They've given public comments
stating that they store every post and email going through
there in their db forever, even after it's "deleted" or "expired".
This hidden practice applies to many many services in
the social, dating, *list, image, and email space... anywhere
that has human meat to datamine, sell, proffer upon, and
remain forever subject to databreach and public posting
of all such content, particularly what you thought was private,
whether or not "protected" by swiss cheese "privacy" policies.
That picture you didn't want... likely even still at the cdn link.
It's probably not possible for tor users to post on CL
via tor anyway, blocked, an ironic and unwanted privacy
protection.
Some gratification to be had that, in some part, blocking
is selective rejection of less rich grades of mineable meat,
thus further proving profit focused mining's very existance.
