You can't traceroute through tor because of the way it's designed.
Your best bet is to NOT chain through the HTTP proxy, go to
ipchicken.com or some other site, and then try it with the http proxy.
This will tell you if you are using tor, and then afterwards, if you
are using an HTTP proxy. Happy surfing.

Hi,
I am using an additional http proxy at the end of the Tor circuit as the
website that I am trying to access blocks Tor.
I am not a very technical person but I would like to know if I can
test(paranoia) that everything is working ok and if a request for a
website is
really going through the 3 Tor nodes, then through den http proxy and
finally reaches the website.
How can I do this? Can I do a traceroute through the tor network or what
would be a way to test this?
I am on linux.
I hope you guys understand what I mean.
