On occaision I watch this:
authenticate "pass"
usefeature extended_events
usefeature verbose_names
setevents stream
getinfo stream-status
In the past, this used to display the FQDN as the first thing
that traversed a circuit, then the IP thereafter.
1072 SUCCEEDED 24 torproject.org:0
1073 SUCCEEDED 24 38.229.70.10:443
[I may have rememberd the stream, circuit and port numbering
wrong, but anyways...]
I've noticed lately that it only displays IP's without showing the DNS
lookups beforehand. Obviously lookups are still happening. But where
did they go in the output? It was massively useful for debugging, and
for finding things to block or redirect [ads, bad things, etc] with:
mapaddress junk=127.0.0.1
