My node has stayed up so far.

Unrelated question, does someone have a good exit policy for
the usual ports for *encrypted* services? Not sure about SSH
(too much portscanning and brute-forcing), but https and also 
diverse MTA/MUA etc. access ports yes please. (I want to minimize 
egress traffic in cleartext).
