there are two warning when compiling tor with gcc 4.1 (tor version is
0.1.1.23):
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -march=k8
- -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -msse3 -Wall -g -O2 -c crypto.c
crypto.c: In function 'crypto_pk_write_public_key_to_string':
crypto.c:502: warning: value computed is not used
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -march=k8
- -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -msse3 -Wall -g -O2 -c tortls.c
tortls.c: In function 'log_cert_lifetime':
tortls.c:720: warning: value computed is not used
i never encountered this warning but i have found that adding a (void)
at the beginning of the two lines solve the problem.
