server's listing in status documents vanished

     Something peculiar appears to be going on.  I came home and saw that
traffic on my tor server (MYCROFTsOtherChild) had diminished to almost zero,
though it had been quite busy when I left a few hours earlier.  I now see
also that it is no longer listed in any of the cached-status/* files.  The
server is still up and appears to be okay, but the authorities seem to have
lost all record of it.
     Does anyone know what could have happened?  I have to shut it down
shortly for other reasons, so I hope that later on when I restart it, it
will get noticed when it published its descriptor, but I'd like to know how
it disappeared from the status files while it was still up and running, so
I can keep that from happening again.
