Welcom back Loic.

I suspect the whole graphics team diged[sic:)] it. Its just that everyone
thought"GGI is just for the graphics people", and we the graphics people were too
polite
to say anything more to the others than "er, ehm, there's this thing called the
GGI you see". So thats why I eventually felt I had to shout. So I'll shout again:
THE GGI DOES SOUND AND INPUT TOO!

I'm not too sure about Berlin. If it turns out to be cool, it'll be kinda likeX only
more modern, and cooler. I think that's more than we really need,
one of the design goals of PPlay and the GGI is that you can have nice
console apps whithout the GUI overhead. Berlin sounds like a platform
which we can support later (from the graphics side, if we can get a GGI visual
from it, then it is almost already ported). Still, I only ever took a short look
at Berlin.

Maybe, that is of course for the sound and input people to say. I haven'ttried to
get PenguinGraphics involved in co-developing GGI because GGI
seems to be supplying pretty much what we need already. There are some In
those places problems with it but ggi people seem to have them on their virtual
todo list. Others might find the same thing.
